Based in London, Alma Books publishes from fifteen to twenty titles a year, mostly contemporary literary fiction, taking around sixty per cent of its titles from English-language originals, while the rest are translations from other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, German and Japanese. Alma Books also publishes two or three non-fiction titles each year.

The sister company of Alma Books, Alma Classics publishes not only the greatest recognized masterpieces of all time but also promotes unjustly neglected works of enduring significance, with a focus on literature in translation.

Tetragon has a strong working relationship with both Alma Books and Alma Classics and currently provides a typesetting, editorial, hosting and technical support for both companies.

Launched in 2003, Bitter Lemon Press is a London-based independent publisher of high-quality thrillers and contemporary crime fiction. Publishing works from Continental Europe, Latin America, the US and Australia, most of their books are translations of prize-winning and highly acclaimed authors, some of which are appearing for the first time in English.

Publishing more than 300 books a year, I.B.Tauris are currently our biggest client, in partnership with Philip Wilson Publishers, an internationally recognized fine-art imprint. For both I.B.Tauris and Philip Wilson, Tetragon have project managed the production of a number of titles, from copy-editing to proofreading, author liaison and typesetting and text design.

Oneworld Publications was founded in 1986 and initially produced a mixture of trade and academic non-fiction. Oneworld now publish around sixty books a year, and branched out into fiction in 2009. Tetragon has been working with Oneworld since mid-2012 and has typeset, designed layouts, and produced complex eBooks for a number of titles so far.

Overture Publishing is an imprint of Alma Classics with a focus on beautifully designed, high-quality music titles. Published in association with the English National Opera, their highly acclaimed opera guides present dual-language texts of opera libretti, alongside extensive additional material.

Set up by Meike Ziervogel in 2008, Peirene Press is an independent London-based boutique publishing house, specialising in world-class literature and high-quality translation. Peirene are passionate about publishing the best of novella-length contemporary European fiction.

Pushkin Press is a publisher of classic and modern literary fiction in translation. With a strong emphasis on promoting neglected gems of European literature and championing young contemporary authors, their compact editions are some of the most beautiful in the industry.

Thames River Press is an imprint of the Wimbledon Publishing Company, dedicated to producing original works of fiction and non-fiction. Their books expose readers to the cultures of people from all over the globe, intriguing historical events and important issues in today’s global society.

Launched in 1999, Tindal Street Press is a Birmingham-based independent publisher with an enviable list of award-winning literary fiction. Their books champion the best of contemporary British, mainly regional, writing.
